Congratulations to Boston United Football club on their promotion back to the National League. It's been a long time coming and a lot of blood, sweat and tears along the way. But they've done it!
S. T Hopper are proud to be associated with the club through our sponsorship. Over the last few seasons, S T Hopper Jewellers of Boston have collaborated with the French watchmaking house Herbelin to offer match ball sponsorship and an end of season award of Herbelin watches to both players and fans.
Darlington vs Boston United 2023
On the 11th February 2023, S T Hopper, along with Herbelin watches, were 'Matchball Sponsor' for the Darlington vs Boston United match where Boston won 3 -1 Nick Bassett, national sales manager of Herbelin UK & Ireland seen here (above) with man of the match, Zak Mills.
Boston United vs Darlington 2024
On the 22nd February, 2024, S T Hopper along with Herbelin watches were Matchball sponsors at the Boston United & Darlington game. Tim Hopper, James Hopper and Matthew O'Callaghan from the shop met up with Nick Bassett from Herbelin and we got to see Boston United beat Darlington 2-0 ! 🙋🙋‍♂️ A fantastic result and a great night. Here's a picture of our very own Tim Hopper with man of the match, Zak Mills.
On the 2nd April, 2024, Boston United opened a poll for fans to vote for their player of the year. S T Hopper along with Herbelin watches donated two watches  where a lucky fan, drawn at random, as well as the Player of the year as voted by the fans would win a quality watch.
Fast forward to 13th April 2024, the last home match of the season and the lucky random winner of the 'player of the year' poll posts this nice message on social media. The player of the year as voted by the fans was defender Jai Rowe.
Defender Jai Rowe collected two end of season trophies, Boston United Player of the Year and Boston United Supporters Association Player of the Year. Winning the player of the year as voted by the fans also meant he won the S T Hopper and Herbelin Cap Camarat model watch as shown in the image above. He called into the shop last week and we got the watch bracelet adjusted for him so he could start wearing it immediately! Congratulations Jai! Well deserved. Enjoy the watch!
About Herbelin Watches
Amongst the world's most popular French watchmakers, Herbelin is one of the world's few remaining Independent watch companies still in the hands of the founder's family. Herbelin watches is celebrating 75 years of independence, over the course of which nothing, or almost nothing, has changed.
All of its watches are designed, assembled by hand and inspected in the brand’s Franche-Comté workshops and promote the same philosophy: the creation of timepieces that are designed to last, all the while respecting artisanal know-how and adding a touch of French elegance. Since 1947, Herbelin has adapted to developments and changing fashions while staying true to its identity.

We finish off by wishing the club all the very best for next season in The National League. Come on you Pilgrims! ⚽️
