Let's take another trip down Memory Lane....

We had a very nice and unexpected letter arrive this week from an anonymous Hopper Shopper. The letter describes how the Hoppers jewellery box was re-used as a button storage box over the years.

This box would have originally been used in the late 1920's-1930's which means this box is around 95 years old! The box wording also mentions the 'late George Claypoole' 
Claypoole jewellers was located at 16 Strait Bargate in Boston, Lincolnshire until Stanley Hopper took over the business in 1926.
